Anwar Ratol Mango History

Anwar Ratol is one of the most-loved mangoes in Pakistan. It’s a young species, originated when a mango grower migrated to Punjab in Pakistan. He named the fruit after his father, Anwar. Anwar Ratol starts early in the mango season in June, the mango is fleshy without much fiber. Due to high demand and lower production, it is usually available only for a few weeks. The best Ratols are produced in the southern parts of Punjab Pakistan. Anwar Ratol is small-sized and usually consumed by engulfing the pulp directly from the tip. It’s packed with a unique sweet flavor and a strong aroma standing out of rest. Raw Anwar Ratol is a preferred variety for achar and chutneys.
